May 21 2008, 9:16 AM EDT I've been racking my brain...and I finally have some ideas. The only downside (excuse, I know) is that temperatures have gotten up to 96° already 'round here...and the Legoratory isn't airconditioned...which relegates my building to late-night (of course, it's still 89° and 96% humidity). I have to go to lay bricks tonight for my wife's flowerbed and I'm seeing Iron Maiden tomorrow night...but it will be a 4-day weekend for me. So we'll see. (...and you're right...if the turnout is lame...we should extend the current challenge into June.) Do you find this valuable? |

May 24 2008, 12:52 PM EDT I'm almost done with mine. I started on thursday after my exam and worked on it for about six hours yesterday. I also happen to be revising for my History exam, so this challenge is pretty well timed! Hopefully I'll have it finished and posted by tuesday at the latest. Do you find this valuable? |

May 25 2008, 1:30 PM EDT Yeah,,, I like the idea of an extension to June, i just finished a craft project ofr school, and still haven't started my astronomy scrapbook or my Flags of Our Fathers book report/scrapbook! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this topic, and i actually would like it if we could have two entries.... I have two really good ideas, but one would require some time, and the other would require some purchases... Do you find this valuable? |

And while I, in my capacity as judge, surely don't want to give any impression of favoritism or preferential treatment, I do have to say that's it's looking pretty good for Almaxr so far. Unless anyone is planning to mount an 11th-hour challenge here. To paraphrase that great American President, Josiah Edward Bartlet, "History is made by those who show up."
