My entry in the April 2008 "Action" challenge:
| An object lesson in the dangers of leaving large quantities of unsorted LEGOs unattended — and leaving your less-than-trustworthy minifigs unmonitored: |
 Trouble's a-brewin' in the unsorted bin... |  ...BIG trouble. |
 The devious Dr. Hfigurrhr, with too much time on his hands, an endless supply of bricks, and no one checking up on his nefarious activities... |  ...has constructed a hideous monstrosity that now rises from the sea of bricks and turns violently upon its unsuspecting binmates. |
 "Figheads good! Crunchy on outside, chewy on inside!" |  Naturally, the general populace completely freaks. |
 Total... |  ...chaos... |
 ...ensues. |  Some braver souls fight back... |
 ...as best they can... |  ...for what it's worth. |
 The more resourceful make it to safety. |  Others are not so lucky. |
 Many are trampled in the stampede. |  Even Mr. Kringle shoves innocents aside in the panic. |
 A few stop to help their confederates. |  Others stick strictly to business. |
 For the rest it's just a mad dash... |  ...to avoid ending up in the belly of the beast. |
 Supes joins the fray... |  ...as does the Lantern... |

You know, someone just pointed out to me that between the blurriness of one of my photos and the fact the the bot is SAWING a man to pieces in the previous panel, one might get the impression that the bot is feeding the wagon driver's HEART to those horses. And looking back, I can see how it does sort of look like that. Yuck...
Not the case. That is, in fact, an apple. He's nice to horses, is the point. But, ya know, if you like a little splatterpunk with your steampunk, then sure -- it can also be a heart.
